Make Windows PC faster (for no SSD systems)

Step 1. Disable Windows Search START > Run > services.msc > Search for Windows Search > (Right Click) Properties > Startup type: Disabled > Service status: Stop

Step 2. Turn off search indexing Right click on C (system drive) > General tab > Uncheck 'Allow files on this drive to have contents indexed in addition to file properties'

Step 3. Change power settings Control Panel > Power Options > Change plan settings > Change advanced power settings > Instead of Balanced [Active] choose High Performance

Step 4. Disable shadows, animations and visual effect START > Run > sysdm.cpl > Advanced tab > (Performance section) Settings > Adjust for best performance

Step 5. Disable transparency Settings > Personalization > Colors > (Scroll down) Transperency effects > Off

Step 6. Disable startup apps Task Manager > Startup tab > (Righ Click) Disable - for each unused app

Step 7. Use CCleaner to clean registry and temp files Install CCleaner > Custom clean > Run cleaner > Registry > Scan for issues > Fix (the last registry part must be done two times
