Excel - Remove Sheet Password

Excel - Remove Sheet Password
This tutorial is for Sheet password not Workbook password.
Make sure you have a backup before following the tutorial

  1. Go to the folder where is the Excel file.
  2. Right click and Rename the file and change the file type from .xlsx to .zip.
    If you don't know how to show file extensions follow this tutorial.
  3. Open the ZIP File and go to xl folder and enter worksheets folder.
  4. Copy the sheet.xml that is password protected on the Desktop.
  5. Right click and open the file Notepad.
  6. Search for sheetProtection and select all the text from the brackets including them and delete it.

  7. Save the file and close it.
  8. Copy and Replace the file in the folder.
  9. Rename file from .zip back to .xlsx
And done!
Now the password from the sheet is removed.
