Enable and Disable File extension
Method 1
Open
File Explorer
(
+
)
Click
View
in the top menu.
Select Show and click
File name extension
.
Check for Enable and Uncheck for Disable
Method 2
Click Start and search for
File Explorer Options
.
Go to
View
tab.
Find
Hide extensions for known file types
.
Uncheck it to show extensions.
Check it to hide extensions.
Click
Apply
and
OK
.
